Inspired by the official Philippines–Australia Friendship Day observed every 22 May, established through Philippine Presidential Proclamation No. 1282 (2016)—this event brings that spirit to life on a grand community scale.

This is more than a celebration. It is a night to reflect on where we came from, to honour why independence was won, and to recognise how our shared history continues to shape who we are today.
This deeply heartfelt production is brought to life through the passion, artistry, and dedication of gifted performers, historians, and community members. Together, their work weaves a powerful storytelling experience that reminds us why independence is sacred, and why the pursuit of freedom, dignity, and self-determination continues across the world.
2026 marks the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, made even more meaningful as the Philippines and Australia celebrate 80 years of enduring friendship. This gala honours that remarkable bond, one built on connection, culture, and community across generations.
