The Filipino Community Council of Queensland Inc. (FCCQ Inc.), trading as the Gold Coast Filipino Australian Cultural Ensemble (GCFACE), was formed from a shared vision to preserve, promote, and celebrate Filipino culture within Australia’s vibrant multicultural landscape.
Deeply rooted in tradition and driven by a strong sense of community, GCFACE brings together dedicated artists, cultural advocates, and volunteers committed to showcasing the richness and diversity of Filipino heritage. Through high-quality performances in dance, music, and storytelling, the ensemble delivers culturally significant experiences at community events, major festivals, and civic celebrations.
Our work goes beyond performance. We play a vital role in strengthening cultural identity, supporting intergenerational knowledge transfer, and fostering a sense of belonging among Filipino-Australians. At the same time, we actively contribute to social cohesion by creating inclusive spaces where diverse communities can connect, learn, and celebrate together.
As the Filipino-Australian community continues to grow, GCFACE remains a key cultural ambassador—building bridges across cultures, inspiring pride in heritage, and enriching the cultural fabric of the Gold Coast, Queensland, and Australia.
